CincyPet’s First Howl-O-Ween Costume Contest a Barking Success

Yappy Hour Market at MadTree Brewing raises close to $500 for Save Our Shelter Dogs Rescue

CincyPet Magazine’s inaugural Yappy Hour season wrapped up on Tuesday with the Howl-O-Ween Yappy Hour Market at MadTree Brewing. The event featured a dozen vendors, swag bags, rescue partner Save Our Shelter Dogs Rescue, a scavenger hunt, a costume contest, and a raffle. Between the raffle and contest entries, the event raised $470 for Save Our Shelter Dogs.

The costume contest started with a parade around the patio so that the vendors, who were the contest judges, could see the 35 plus contest entrants. It was a chaotic scene and with a dozen judges, there were a lot of votes to compile for each category. Congratulations to all the winners and to those who didn’t win, the competition was fierce and there were some amazing and clever costumes.

Thanks to everyone who attended, the vendors, and to all the businesses that donated to the raffle and prizes for the event. A special thank you to MadTree Brewing for being such awesome hosts. A special thanks to Tiffany Marie Photos for capturing some images of the night.

We can’t wait for next year!
