Christmas is this week and your canine companions can have their very own Christmas cookies with this easy recipe for Canine Candy Canes.
You will need: baking sheet, parchment paper, wax paper or plastic baggies.
HINT: For small dogs cut the candy canes in half before placing onto baking sheet. This will double the amount.
Refrigerate for a week or freeze and store for up to three weeks.
While peppermint may be soothing to humans, it can be toxic for dogs, so make sure to share only these canine candy canes with your furry best friend and not candy canes intended for human consumption.
