Meet Chessie, a 1-year-old a domestic short hair tabby mix available for adoption from Save the Animals Foundation. His estimated birth date is in2019.
It is hard to imagine a cat that’s more fun than Chessie! He is one contented, interactive purr-y young dude. Chessie is very even-tempered and amenable. Everyone he meets, feline and human, is a new friend. He loves to get into the middle of everything you’re doing—the perfect coworker for your remote office activities! Although not the overly crazy type, he is enthusiastic about sweatshirt cords, shoelaces and other fun “toys.”
This sleek striped tabby was rescued as a tiny tyke by STAF’s TNR (trap-neuter-release) team from a perilous situation at a trailer park. The team’s fearless leader fostered the little man in her home until he was big and strong enough to come to STAF. You’ll love this guy, so make a beeline to STAF—you’ll be so very happy you did!
All cat adoptions at STAF are by appointment only. Cat adoptions are within 150-mile radius of the shelter (4011 Red Bank Road Cincinnati, OH 45227), which includes Dayton, Columbus, Louisville, Lexington, Indianapolis and the surrounding areas. Adoption fee for cats is $40 and includes spay/neuter, microchip, and carrier. Please note, you must be 21 years of age or older to adopt a cat from STAF.
