SPCA Cincinnati’s annual fundraising event, the Fur Ball, went virtual this year with a week of live online events leading up to the grand finale on Saturday. August 29. Local 12’s Adam Clements hosted the online finale of “The Great Catsby” themed virtual fundraiser. The event raised $310,000 for the SPCA’s mission of saving animal’s lives. The SPCA Cincinnati’s annual Fur Ball Gala is going virtual for the first time in the organization’s history. After much deliberation and in an effort to move forward safely amid COVID-19, the SPCA decided to have a week-long online event.
