MedVet Cincinnati Hosts Service Dog Event

Free Eye and Wellness Exams for Active Working Animals

MedVet Cincinnati is hosting a service dog event on May 22. Qualified service and working animals will receive a free eye and wellness exam from MedVet’s team of doctors, specialists, and veterinary technicians. Exams are by appointment only.

In order to qualify for the free exams, your service animal must be an “active working animal” that was certified through a formal training program or organization or be currently enrolled in a formal training program that provides documented proof of certification. The training organization can be national, regional, or local in nature. Active working animals include guide, hearing assistance, drug detection, police/military, search and rescue, therapy, and disability assistance trained animals through a formal program.

Owners can register online at www.ACVOeyeexam.org and, once registered, call MedVet Cincinnati at 513-561-0069 to schedule an appointment. All exams will take place at MedVet Cincinnati, 3964 Red Bank Road, Fairfax, OH 45227.
