Kabuki: Save the Animals Foundation

Meet Kabuki, an eight year-old whippet and boxer mix available for adoption with Save the Animals Foundation. Her estimated birth date is 2012 and she has been waiting for her forever home for a couple of years.

Kabuki is joyful and spunky and will be a loyal and loving family member; always there by your side, through good times and bad. This girl loves to smile! Lovable Kabuki’s story is sad and all too familiar —she used to have a home and a human she loved. Although Kabuki had been a member of the man’s family for over three years, he met a new girl and her dogs were not getting along with Kabuki. He was handed an ultimatum and he chose the girlfriend and her dogs over Kabuki.

We are on a mission to find Kabuki a home that will be there through thick and thin, provide her lots of love, and be devoted to being her family when she reaches her senior years; a home she has never known and always deserved. Check out Kabuki the TV star on Fox19

Kabuki is most likely a greyhound or whippet mix; we’re never sure. Kabuki loves to take long walks and is fabulous on leash while walking at a steady pace; she doesn’t pull or lollygag she just is happy to *be* when she is walking. Honestly, she is over the moon happy with the time she spends walking with the volunteers taking in all the smells and the sights. Kabuki is very playful and loves to play with her toys and chase tennis balls. We know Kabuki would love a big fenced yard.

Kabuki is great with children and is used to being around kids five years or older. Although Kabuki has done well with smaller, calmer dogs; after being attacked and hurt by dogs from her last home she does have fear of other dogs and will be happiest being the only dog-child. She will need a home that will respect her wishes to be the only dog and that home will be rewarded with a loyal, joyful and loving family member through good times and bad. This girl will make you smile!
