Kitten Season is in full swing and Cincinnati Animal CARE will be hosting its second annual Kitten Shower at Wiedemann’s in St. Bernard (4811 Vine Street, Cincinnati, OH 45217) this Saturday, July 16 from 2 pm-6 pm. Much like a human baby shower, the Kitten Shower will be an opportunity for the community to donate supplies and funds to their one and only county animal shelter, which is on track to take in nearly 4,000 cats and kittens this year. The shelter is most in need of wet cat/kitten food, toys, litter, and kitten formula.
In addition, this family-friendly event will feature games, raffles, prizes, kids’ activities, and of course, adoptable kittens! A portion of Wiedemann’s sales during the event will be donated to Cincinnati Animal CARE as well.
“The Kitten Shower was a huge success for us last year,” said Ray Anderson, Community Engagement Manager. “Wiedemann beer and Cincinnati Animal CARE kittens, what more could you ask for?!”
Those who can’t attend in-person can still make a donation through CARE’s Amazon Wishlist:
