Priscilla is a sweet senior chihuahua/Jack Russell terrier mix who, once-upon-a-time, had a home. Sadly, she and her daughter, Lisa Marie, were let loose by their owner who decided he didn’t want them anymore. Fortunately for Priscilla and Lisa Marie the owner’s daughter picked them up and surrendered them to a shelter. Then, their lives took a turn for the better when they became part of Little Hills of Kentucky Animal Rescue!
Priscilla and Lisa Marie had obviously suffered years of neglect because they both had to have quite a few teeth extracted. It seems the only thing holding their teeth in their mouths was the hard, gray plaque. Priscilla had to have 11 teeth extracted and Lisa Marie had 13 teeth extracted. Both dogs were infested with fleas and even had bald spots and sores from being so badly infested for so long. However, their bad days are behind them and there’s only happy times and lots of love for them ahead.
Priscilla is around 13 years old and around 12 pounds. She gets along with everyone, animals and people alike. Even though she likes children, a home with older children would be best for Priscilla due to her age and size. Her ideal home life would be spending most of her days in her owners lap and bad. This senior girl deserves it!
Even though Priscilla is older, she still loves to run around, go on walks, and loves car rides. She is very outgoing and spunky, yet she is also very sweet and cuddly. She still has lots of love to give.
Priscilla is up-to-date on vaccines, microchipped, spayed, heartworm negative, and up-to-date on flea and tick treatment. She has had a dental and blood work done. She is both house trained and potty pad trained. She is healthy, happy, and ready for a home of her own. Her adoption fee is $150. If you’re interested in adopting Priscilla, you can fill out the adoption application on Little Hills of Kentucky’s website.
