Archie: HART Cincinnati

Meet CincyPet Magazine's Rescue Dog of the Week

Archie is a playful, young dog who is available for adoption with HART Cincinnati.

Hi! My name is Archie and I LOVE to play! The only thing I love more than playing is getting attention. In fact, I am not sure why anyone would ever give attention to anything else. I am about two years old. I lived in a home with a doggie sister and three tiny human kiddos. I do great with both.

I am VERY food motivated and am not very good remembering my manners when there is food of any kind around. I also am what my humans call and escape artist! I can jump 5 foot fences, get out of crates, and open screen doors. I only do so because I want to RUN! I have lots of energy and need a home that will help me get it out! The best thing about me is what happens when I finally run out of energy— I am an expert cuddler! I will cuddle with anyone and everyone who will let me. (And sometimes even if you won’t!) I love laying on laps and curling up next to tiny humans.

I have a lot of personality and would make a great family pet if given the right environment! I require a fenced in yard, preferably a tall privacy fence so I can’t escape!

All HART dogs are spayed/neutered, microchipped and up to date on all vaccines, including bordatella and rabies. They are heartworm tested and on preventative for heartworm, fleas, and ticks. If you are interested in any of our pets, you must complete an online dog adoption application at www.rescueAhart.org . The application will put you in touch with this wonderful dog’s foster family so you can schedule a meeting. Thanks! www.rescueAhart.org
