Moe: Cincinnati Animal CARE

CincyPet Magazine's Rescue Dog of the Week

Moe is a senior pittie mix available for adoption with Cincinnati Animal CARE in Northside. He is 8 years old but you wouldn’t know it because he is the wiggliness pup! Moe has so much life to live and has been showing what a great pup he is in his foster home!

Moe has become the center of the Instagram account @you_cannot_say_no_to_moe which chronicles his day-to-day life from snuggles on the couch, playdates with his friend, to even seeing what Moe would do with an egg in his mouth! However, after an amazing month with his foster mom, his foster is moving away! Moe is so hoping to find a new family to love and snuggle with!

Moe tends to get overlooked because people are scared to take a chance on a senior, but Moe is proof that just because you’re old doesn’t mean you can’t party! Moe is a bundle of joy and would make an amazing companion to anyone looking for a lifelong best friend

Moe is potty trained, crate trained, and all-around mellow. When he goes to lay down, he looks like gravity is pulling him extra hard until he *plops* down. He does not do well with cats. He loves a good walk, is always happy to play with his foster sister, and loves toys. When he falls for you, you feel like the luckiest human.

If you are interested in meeting Moe, email foster.adoption@cincinnatianimalcare.org and celebrate Adopt A Senior Month by making your family a bit bigger and a bit cuter!

The fee to adopt adult dogs (6 months and older) is $75. Dogs adopted from Cincinnati Animal CARE have the following included with their adoption fee: age-appropriate vaccines (Bordetella, distemper, parvo, and rabies); heartworm test and deworming; preventative care (heartworm, flea, and tick); a microchip; and a Hamilton County dog license.

Cincinnati Animal CARE Human Society is the county animal shelter responsible for taking in stray animals in Hamilton County. Cincinnati Animal CARE is committed to the nationwide no-kill movement. Since taking over the shelter in August 2020, they have maintained a live release for dogs over 97% and for cats over 91%.
