Lisa Desatnik, Training Expert
Lisa Desatnik, CPDT-KA, CPBC, is a certified dog trainer through the internationally recognized Certification Council for Professional Dog Trainers; and, is a certified Fear Free Dog Training Professional. She is also a certified parrot behavior consultant. An animal lover her entire life, she began studying Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) as it relates to helping pets and their people succeed over 17 years ago; and continually takes courses from leading positive trainers and behaviorists.
Lisa offers individualized coaching on dog and puppy training, as well as one-on-one training for pets, using and teaching the most positive strategies for dog manners behaviors as well as solving and preventing pet problem behaviors. For families with children, she applies lessons from her My Dog’s Super Hero curriculum to teach how dogs communicate, and how to be a safe and positive dog teacher and friend. Melinda Kirk Stenger is CEO of Lucky Paws, LLC & creator of the award-winning PetCakes & YumYum Bones, healthy cake and ice cream for dogs and cats. Melinda has been cooking for over 20 years for her fur babies and sells thousands of dog & cat birthday kits a month on Amazon.com and Chewy.com. She wants to share her experience with you, as well as her enthusiasm for being a pet parent.
When she’s not cooking for canines or planning over the top pet parties, you can find her volunteering at the Ronald McDonald House. She and her husband create fun activities for the kids that benefit the therapy dogs at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center.

Dr. Katie Hogan is a full-time veterinarian at Grady Veterinary Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio. She works with dogs, cats, and exotic companion animals and is dedicated to furthering the human-animal bond. In her free time, she creates online content for her blog, KatieHoganDVM.com, which is dedicated to helping pets, pet parents, and veterinarians live the best lives imaginable.
Dr. Katie is originally from Frankfort, Kentucky. She went to Murray State University for her undergraduate studies and obtained a bachelor’s of science degree in agriculture. She attended Auburn University for veterinary school, graduating in 2016. Outside of veterinary medicine, Dr. Katie enjoys horseback riding, camping, and kayaking. She lives in Kentucky with her wife and their five pets: three dogs, two cats, and a lizard named Buckley.
Shae Pepper, Travel Expert
Full-time dog mom and traveler, Shae Pepper is on a 5 year, 50 state road trip with her husband, Stephen Pepper and their dog, Truffles. You can follow their adventures on their website, No Home Just Roam. Besides exploring the states by day, Shae writes children’s stories, teaches online and practices her pet and travel photography. She is the curator for Truffles Instagram and Facebook pages although Truffles really runs the show. Cincy holds a special place in her heart. She visits Cincinnati almost yearly to see her friends who live locally with their dogs AND to get her Skyline Chili and Graeter’s Ice Cream fixes.
